THIS T-SHIRT WAS DESIGNED BY FINN TO HELP PEOPLE IN UKRAINE.
This T-shirt is the second in a series of shirts that were designed by our students to do something good in the world.
How it works is that we ask one of our students to create two, different T-shirt designs. We then ask the Backbeat fam to vote on their favourite design and we have the winning design made into a T-shirt.
We sell these T-shirts and donate 100% of the proceeds to a charity chosen by the student who designed them.
This year, Finn chose to support the Red Cross' efforts in Ukraine.
MORE ABOUT FINN
It started with a band poster Finn designed during Summer Rock Camp. Maybe you've seen it. It's the one of the basketball-playing monster holding his own head in his hand. This poster put Finn's art on our radar and we've been huge fans ever since.
Finn's the drummer for Captain Falafel, one of our longtime Rock Bands. He also sings and plays the keys. And he draws. The guy's got alot on the go.
Finn chose to support the Red Cross' humanitarian efforts in Ukraine because he knows how many Ukrainians live in Edmonton and that many of these fellow Edmontonians have loved ones who have been affeced by the war.
Finn, thanks for sharing your art with us and for working with us to help those living in Ukraine. We're proud to have you be a part of what we do.
